Wunderland-Special: Demolition after 23 years
More tracks, trains and fun await you!
We are renewing our oldest track: the main track 0. This track has existed since the beginning of Wunderland and has seen a lot! Thousands of trains, hundreds of train accidents, countless new points and we've even replaced tracks a few times. But now a new era is beginning! The center conductor of the three-wire track is simply not strong enough to withstand our continuous operation and unfortunately keeps causing problems. We have therefore decided to convert the entire track to two-wire. The first foundation stone has now been laid - or rather demolished - and the entire helix, in which the trains climb almost 1½ m in height, has been dismantled by Wolfgang and Fatih.
