Wunderland Special - Rail zeppelin and new daycare train
From the locomotive workshop comes the rail zeppelin, a unique silver propeller with a 230 km/h record, and the colorful daycare train with works of art on Hamburg's rails.
There is news from the locomotive workshop and we travel back in time almost 100 years. The Schienenzeppelin was a masterpiece of train history. At a daring 230 km/h, the train shot from Hamburg to Berlin in 98 minutes, setting a speed record in the process. This and its unusual design make the silver train with propeller a unique piece that should not be missed in Wunderland. At least as unique, but a little more comfortable, is our daycare train through miniature Hamburg. Its carriages have been fitted with new works of art from a Hamburg daycare center and now let colorful rainbows shine over our tracks. Have fun.
