Wunderland Update #31 - Anniversary, Formula 1 start and high-ranking visitors
A lot has happened in Wunderland again!
A lot has happened again in recent weeks and months. The new Formula 1 racing season starts today in Melbourne. Of course, we wanted to join in at the same time and all the helping hands made it possible for us to get all 10 teams and 20 Formula 1 cars to the Monaco circuit on time.
Then there was another really festive event for us. The 25 millionth visitor passed through the gates of Miniatur Wunderland! Who would have thought 24 years ago that so many people from all over the world would want to visit Wunderland?
A very special visit also took place a few weeks ago. Nancy Faeser, Federal Minister of the Interior and Home Affairs, visited us and inaugurated the new Quattro patrol at Hamburg Central Station. We also have something special for train fans: the Desiro HC RRX is doing its rounds in Miniatur Wunderland and came exclusively to us on the tracks. Marcel from Modellbahn Union and Hanna from National Express were with us to inaugurate it in style. Have fun!
