A model of the Hamburg-Harburg train station has been on display at the Museum for Hamburg History for over 70 years. It is the largest layout built in gauge 1 in Hamburg. It is operated by the "Modelleisenbahn Hamburg e.V.". Visitors can see the entry and exit routes, including the pillar lift and the Hamburg main freight station, which no longer exists. This historical traffic system makes a century of railway history come alive in Hamburg.
